In 2000, she co-founded GLC Development Resources LLC, providing real estate development and advisory services; and before that served as the assistant receiver for Community and Economic Development for the city of Chelsea during the state receivership. She also spent time in state government as the director of Real Estate for DCPO (the previous name for DCAMM).
